BEGINNER FUNDAMENTALS
The Building Blocks
As any beginner will tell you, starting out can be a challenge, and for this reason, the service is designed to take you through the very basics of music in an interactive and entertaining approach. Regardless of your age it’s never too late to learn an instrument, so whether you are 7 or 70 the beginner track can accommodate all your musical needs. Get in touch now for more information.
INTERMEDIATE JAZZ QUINTET
Beyond The Basics
This for youth or adult students who have played in a Jazz band or small jazz group for at least a year. They must know eight major and minor scales, a blues scale, chromatic scale, play with a confidence and have general understanding of form and Jazz styles. We will help your understanding of Jazz History and how it relates to the tunes we play and what the audience expects. We use the Real Easy Book Vol. 2 on Sher Music Publishers. You'll explore transcribing, introductions, endings, interludes, altered chords and encourage inter-play with the rhythm section.
ADVANCED ENSEMBLE
Play with the Pros
Saxophone, clarinet and flute trios, quartets, Jazz ensembles can be really fun! We often place you with a graduate from Berklee, NEC, Boston Conservatory to be sure you have a great experience. Whenever possible the coach will play with you to keep you inspired and excited.  You have some influence of the styles chosen. Explore Tango, Classical Rock, Jazz and or Celtic.
